Great work! I am a high fantasy author looking for an artist to do concept art for my characters! If you are interested email me at TheElderForest@gmail.com. These will not be for commercial use but for my own personal use. Again great work!!!
Thought they were gorgeous designs ... right until I looked down the girls' legs.
Yeah, please cut it with the high heels. Your design has otherwise really sensible armour choices, and there's just nothing screaming 'breaking your suspension of disbelief' like modern fashion in fantasy settings.
Sorry to hear that you found me rude. It was not my intention to insult, but I won't back down from what I've said, and I think I worded my opinion reasonably. I don't approve of females being made to, as you put it, 'intrigue the male audience', since the males are not crafted to intrigue the female audience, either. And this is a problem in game design, as I've said, it seriously breaks your willing suspension of disbelief. It's simply in no way practical for a hunter or a warrior to run around in high heels. How would the hunter chase their prey in these shoes? Nevermind historical accuracy, then there wouldn't be female characters to complement the males anyway.
It's not a problem merely with your sketches, sure, this is a problem in the industry at large, but I don't think that it is 'rude' to call attention to this fact. You don't need to mind it as much as I don't need to like your work. I just thought, since you enabled comments, that I could state what I think.
I'll repeat, otherwise the designs are really gorgeous and look appealing, even if the females' shoes bug me more than others.
my classmate's half-sister makes $84/hr on the computer. She has been fired from work for six months but last month her pay check was $14351 just working on the computer for a few hours. Here's the site to read more... can99.CoM
