yep :)
best way to get a solid object and clean lines off the bat.
paint a little under the sketch then over and remove the line art.
after I'm about done with lighting I render out the focal point and open a color layer with a 
shack brush set on opacity and explore color.
my BIGGEST advice to any one wanting better paintings is stay away from monochrome paintings!
EX:dark red shadow, medium red mid tone, light red highlight-> instead....
if the color is warm do a cool shadow-> blue or purple shadows, red mid tone, orange highlight.
layers make color exploration so easy. you can paint monochromatic halfway through and pop a color layer above and experiment with colors.

That's really good advice. A lot of people stay inside their comfort zone and don't experiment with colors enough (I'm guilty). Great picture too. It gives me a sort of Monster Hunter meets Dark Souls vibe.
